This position will report to the Director of Insurance Marketing and Sales Support. The major roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Producing life and long term care insurance illustrations and providing to requesting Registered Representative, using appropriate software. Responding to Registered Representative requests surrounding case design, product choice and specific product features. 2+ years experience in a life insurance environment, experience with Microsoft applications, proven ability to cross-check one's own work to minimize errors, proven ability to meet multi-task, demanding deadlines with competing priorities, ability to exhibit behaviors conducive with a customer service focused environment, proven independent objective thought processing, demonstrable written and oral communication skills.

Large financial investment corporation has an opening in their Insurance Agency for a Sales Suitability Supervisor reporting directly to the Senior V.P. of Insurance and Annuities. The major roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Reviewing all variable life applications submitted to the agency for suitability of variable sub accounts selected versus investment objectives. Verification that the Registered Representatives submitting the applications are properly licensed in appropriate states and appointed with the insurance carrier. Assisting in maintaining current variable life product information for the Registered Representatives to use in the field. Maintenance of Insurance department compliance files. Qualified candidates must possess the following skills or meet the minimum requirements: 3+ years experience in a securities/variable life insurance environment (sales experience a plus), Series 7 license. Highly desired qualifications include Series 24 license, prior supervisory experience, life insurance license and finance or business degree.

Essential duties and responsibilities to include the following (other duties may be assigned later): EDI: Reviewing EDI orders and comparing promotion accuracy (daily), following up on discrepancies with RSM and brokers, making appropriate adjustments, has opening orders repriced. Prom planner: Helping enter deals (new/revisions) into promotion planner, printing promotion bulletins and mailing to brokers. Production planning: Assisting with preparing reports for weekly production meetings. General office work: photocopying and distributing reports (internal). Mailing month end sales reports to brokers (ACV, Broker Sales Analysis). Responsible for faxing and filing as needed.
