Founder and CEO of Interstate Personnel, went out on his own in 1986 to establish
Interstate Personnel Services in an effort to help facilitate job placement in
the South Bay area. Striving to perfect the art of placing the perfect candidate,
John works with all sizes and levels of companies to achieve the proper balance
of experience and personalities. For over 20 years, John has specialized in the
placement of all levels of management, accounting/finance, administration, and
manufacturing.

Lisa
recently joined Interstate after being with
another staffing firm nearly 13 years. Her
main focus is leading the team in recruiting
and sales within the Global Logistics arena.
She has over 20 years of industry experience
with one local and one national staffing firm.
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Business Administration
from Loyola Marymount University She has held
a range of positions within the staffing industry
from customer service and branch management
to her long time passion in sales for the
past 20 years. Customer service and providing
ongoing strategies to continuously improve
our service to you is her main concentration.

Roger Nielsen, ext. 228
Senior Placement Consultant/Recruiter |
Roger began his career
in the staffing industry in 1998 when he joined Interstate Personnel. For the
past two years, Roger has held the honor of being the Top Producer.Beginning in
the Direct Hire Division of Interstate, he quickly moved into temporary placement
as well and now combines Light Industrial placements with direct-hire executive
positions. Roger attended El Camino College where he received an Associate of
Arts degree in Business. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling and watching
his son play baseball.

Senior Personnel Consultant | Lisa
joined Interstate a little over five years ago. She brought with her an additional
four years in the industry to bring her current experience to nine years. Lisa
is a lean, mean staffing machine assisting clients in finding the perfect people
for their open positions. When Lisa isn't running around the office meeting with
applicants or on the phone marketing to companies, she enjoys spending time with
her family and friends and-most importantly-her pets.

Ellie
has been in the staffing industry for nearly
20 years. The last eight years have been spent
with Interstate where she focuses on placing
accountants and technical skills. Ellie earned
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies
and is an active member of the Torrance Chamber
of Commerce. When not at work, Ellie enjoys
being an active member of the First Lutheran
Church of Torrance.

Angie
came to Interstate in 1991, not as a consultant,
but as the Front Desk Administrator. She worked
her way up the ladder, learning all the tricks
of the trade.One of her notable accomplishments
at Interstate was to grow the Temporary Division
from one person to eight people. Now, she
specializes in clerical and administrative
placements. She loves her job and is thrilled
each time she assists her clients as well
as each time she aids an applicant in the
promotion of their own career growth.
