HR Generalist

Leading mail order supplier of vitamins, minerals, protein powders and other sports nutrition products has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist for corporate office, warehouse and retail store operations.  Responsible for maintaining an ongoing knowledge of departmental procedures and update procedures as necessary.  Will train directly with the Accounting Manager to process bi-weekly payroll.  Assist employees with any questions or problems as they relate to staffing or general HR issues.  Maintain active and terminated personnel files.  Prepare new hire paperwork and maintain new hire information.  Administer processes for pre-employment reference and background checks on applicants.  Facilitate staffing process including interview coordination and new hire documentation administration.  Coordinate on-boarding and termination process for permanent, temporary and intern staffing for both warehouse and call center departments, and retail store.  Coordinate employee and management training programs.  Provide support for events and programs to achieve HR goals.  Assist with general office and accounting work as needed.

Will be responsible for all HR functions, except training.  This company is looking for a Generalist to handle every other aspect of Human Resources.  Ideal candidate will be strong and willing to take charge of the Human Resources Department.  Construction  experience a plus, not a must.
